The Hotel is affordable for smaller budgets and located within walking distance to the Buquebus ferry terminal, so its a perfect hub for those coming from or going to Uruguay. Also, it right in the middle of the historic city center and allows to discover Montevideo easily. Rooms are very small. The car parking does not belong to the hotel and is only accessible through a labyrinth of small one-way-streets in the middle of n traffic jams some 200 meters away, which may turn into kilometers due to permanent construction works. It only fits smaller cars and motorbikes.
Enjoyed may stay
Located close to the pedestrian zone and harbour with nice restaurants and bars. Staff is overall very friendly and helpful (thank you Oscar for checking busses). The Hotel is well cleaned up. Enjoyed breakfast.
Very Good
Very nice staff and clean hotel.. I'm not sure if it was because it was shortly after New Year's but the area felt a bit deserted and not safe at night.

Amazing Wifi and Fantastic Location
The Wifi is one of the best parts of this hotel. It is really strong, and I never lost connection. The room itself was small but well-kept with good shower pressure and clean facilities. It is in a safe location with easy access to major bus lines and the port if one decides to take the Buquebus ferry to Buenos Aires. The breakfast is comprehensive with some great options. The staff are extremely friendly, and I appreciate that one can use the room key to unlock the front door.. The pillows were a little flat and the walls are thin, so one can hear boisterous people in the hallway (although this wasn't too bad). The shower also took a little bit of time to get warm, so be prepared to wait. Finally, the staff may not always be at the front desk, so I had to wait 5 minutes after my arrival to be let into the building, but I appreciate that they have a luggage storage room.
The perfect place to explore Montevideo!
For us the perfect stay near the harbour, market, old town, Sarandí… very friendly staff, always available to help/provide great recommendations. Nice, clean rooms, good breakfast. We stayed there twice and they kept our extra luggage during the interim period, which was awesome.
Affordable centrally located hotel
Great location near port if departing by cruise ship and in the old part of town near mercado, supermarket, shops n restaurants. Easy walk to major sites. Very helpful reception and staff. Room well appointed n clean.. An electric kettle in room would be nice
Great place if you don't expect much from a breakfast.
Location, staff, check-in, room, cleanliness were all good. I liked that it's very central.. I think breakfast is poor. I would expect to have at least an egg option within the breakfast open buffet.
Fantastic location and amazing staff!
The location was fantastic in the old part of town and the hotel was very comfortable. The staff were exceptional and gave some fantastic recommendations for dinner etc. also fast and reliable free WiFi.

. The room was too small. With one closed cary on each person, we couldn t walk to the bathroom.

Nice hotel close to the ferry terminal
The hotel itself is a nice hotel with all you need. The room is comfortable and quiet. I slept great. Staff is curtious and helpfull. Breakfast good. The good thing about the location is that it's just 200 meters from the ferry terminal from Buenos Aires.. The only negative thing is also the location, which is in the old city harbor district. There are a lot of beggars. Most of them are harmless, some even polite, but some are aggressive, when they find out that you are not Latin American. I experienced this several places in Montevideo, but especially in the old city.

Location fantastic. Turn left from front of hotel and in 20m in a touristy street leading to the market with all the eateries. could walk to everything. Staff great and very clean.. couldn’t get the heating to work but plenty of bedding supplied. Water takes a long long time to get hot so just be patient! No drinking water supplies

Stay was ok
The first room we were allocated was extremely noisy from the road noise so we changed the next day. We had a king size bed in the first room, but went down to a queen/double in the quieter room which was not so good. The breakfast is basic. No hot eggs etc. Location is good for the market at the port but it is not in the central city area. This was not a problem for us. Just meant no so many choices for restaurants. Overall stay was ok but central city is probably better. Breakfast needed some substance.
